Sounds easy, but Apple doesn't give you any way to do this. In this case, you'll want to get your music off your iPod or iOS device and on to your Mac or PC. Or somehow you accidentally deleted a song or an album from your music library, but it's still on your device. Your computer may have crashed, or gotten stolen, and you may not have a backup. There may be times when you need to get it back. I found itunes.exe in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\AppleInc.iTunes_1209.0_圆4_nzyj5cx40ttqa\ you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod (touch, classic, nano.), you probably have quite a bit of music on it: songs you purchased directly from the iTunes Store, or synced from your Mac or PC. Anyway, I'm looking for the iTunes thumbnail, if possible which my toolbar would detect in itunes.exe, if I could find it.ĮDIT 2: OK, I answered my own question. These however are not the actual exe file, but references to it. I need this information in order to create an entry in a toolbar that I use for PC management purposes.ĮDIT: I found a couple of links C:\Users\fortitude\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\itunes.exe and c:\Users\fortitude\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\AppleInc.iTunes_nzyj5cx40ttqa\iTunes.exe. The Windows Start menu does have an entry for iTunes, which I used for my backup, but does not provide any clue about where the actual executable is located. However, I cannot find where itunes.exe is located on my PC. The installation was made from the Microsoft Store. I installed iTunes on my PC in order to backup my iPhone apps and data.
